Patrick Costa is a writer and illustrator currently residing in the sunny (that means *#*%#* hot) state of Florida. He graduated from The School of Visual Arts in NYC and has a background in animation, having contributed to projects for PBS kids, Nick Jr., Cartoon Network, and Disney on Broadway. His illustration work incorporates a variety of digital and traditional tools and techniques.
He is currently (that means still) writing and illustrating his first picture book based upon the character of Don Vincente, a 19th century monk with a bad case of bibliomania.
When not working, he can be found drinking too much coffee, buying too many books, or drinking too much coffee while buying too many books. He also loves the smell of freshly sharpened pencils.
